Rates
Rates vary depending on the time of year, seasonal demand and whether you book directly with me or through an agency.
In general, weekly rates range from £225 per week (eg over November to February, excluding Christmas / New Year) to £395 per
week (eg in July/August and over Christmas / New Year and Easter). These translate into rates per night for short
breaks of between £36.50 per night to £65.00 per night over the same periods (but note that agency rates for short breaks
may differ from this).

The cottage will be available to you after 4.00pm on your arrival day and the latest departure time in
the morning after your final night is 10.00am.
(Please note that if you book through a third party then their terms and conditions will apply in addition
to mine.)
Booking

Booking can be made either directly with me by cheque or bank transfer or by other means also through agents such
as VisitScotland.com / Stilwell's / cottagesdirect.com (see links above).
All fees are payable in advance. If you book more than 8 weeks in advance of your arrival date
then your booking will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit which is non-refundable. The deposit is usually 10%
to 20% of the total sums due, depending on the agent. If you book directly with me the deposit will normally
be 10%. Any balance oustanding must, however, be paid in full 8 weeks in advance of your arrival date. If you book within 8
weeks of the arrival date then your booking will be confirmed and secured only on safe receipt of
the total sums due. Balancing/short notice total payments are also usually non-refundable and you are strongly advised
to take out travel insurance to protect yourself against the consequences of unexpected events impacting on your holiday plans.
